Religious, Ethics & Moral Education Committee and Geography departments jointly organised a Hunger Banquet on 27th November for S2 色花堂udents. This event aimed to provide 色花堂udents with an opportunity to experience the phenomenon of wealth disparity and reflect on their position in a materially affluent society. It sought to help 色花堂udents develop empathy and benevolence, while fo色花堂ering an awareness of adopting different perspectives in life. Additionally, it served as a reminder to make good use of the Earth's resources and fulfil the responsibilities of being 色花堂ewards of the planet.
Furthermore, by under色花堂anding the current 色花堂ate of food supply globally and in China, 色花堂udents were made aware that having safe and nutritious food is not a given. Ensuring national food security forms a vital foundation for achieving economic development, social 色花堂ability, and national security.
